Hello, 0.612 is my conversion rate?? ;-) wot u got? eta still in shed [now clean] thinking of doing something more with new pistons 325i head combo. I wanted to do the exhaust first because my Ansa "sport" ha ha system was in it's 18 month self-destruct mode. Junk. I was looking at the Metric Mechanic web page: WOW! Wish I had someone in the UK that is that turned of. Exhaust on, this was very hard to fit, through the "small gap" side of the dif' but it now works, after touching the prop' on a hard right turn [Now I know why the Alpina system is so expensive the front pipes are Well, almost] Brakes going on Tuesday-Wednesday. Got a E12 master [E12 -525 early] This is good because the piston is 2mm bigger than the stock E21 323i AND even better it has DUAL front output! Just have to run two extra copper and assoc steel flexes plus double hole clips on struts/body [BMW part number eerrmm, have got it somewhere - it's of E12 M535]. So this then allows full braking effort with the bigger piston and the dual pipes are very tidy down to the twin input Volvo callipers. Anyhow my old master has gotta be well tired, it's original kit. Got: New drilled and grooved disks, the E12 master, New Volvo four pot callipers [tried rebuilding second hand but they were so horrible, brought nice Gold painted ;-) exchange ones for 49ea + horrid old ones......peanuts and job done], nice steel flexes, kevlar mix fast road pads. I don't think that the E30 rear callipers/pad can give much advantage because the pad size [different shape is only 1mm? bigger and as the back don't brake by more than what 30%? I thought that I would evaluate the other bits first then, if need be do the back callipers...... I'm ready!
